Yes. They also held a dispersal draft in which the other remaing 8 teams picked players off the Renegades roster with Saskatchewan having first pick and choosing QB Kerry Joseph.

The " Renegades " are gone as a team and name but football will be back in Ottawa in 2007. Which means the Ottawa Renegades are defunct, but the new team, Ottawa Steelback, will be active.
